A view of a mountain is something that really excites me. Mountains have so many strong shapes it makes for some fantaf Mtic Photography. To take a successful View of a Mountain you need to have the correct weather, A focal point, The correct equipment and patience to wait for the lighting.

Hello I am so excited at the moment. I have been a professional photographer for the past 30 years. I live in Maesteg but cover the UK. I have just launched my new website which features my life work of large Panoramic Images of Wales. The site is now live and I will be adding my work to the site weekly.

Let me just show you what I have recently done for my own family.
Before
I copied an old family photograph taken around 1920 which features my grandfather and his sister and their parents. –my great grandparents.
After a few hours research I established the background including were they original came from, of my great-grandparents Sam and Rachel. I then resorted the photograph, which the picture shows was in a pretty bad state, and added the information in text form to the picture.
The result was a valuable source on information that was added to the original photograph which was then printed framed and now hangs on our wall. We printed the image in house and with today’s printing techniques the image will last for at least 80 years.
After
However the true benefit came when I was able to email the image to my Aunty and her family in Australia who’s father was in the picture. Now all the great and great grandchildren who have been born in Australia have a copy of this valuable personnel moment of history.
My cousin was ecstatic when she saw her family as she was only 4 when she emigrated, she is now a grandmother and a high quality image has been sent to Perth to given pride and place in her home.

Being a professional photographer based around the Bridgend and Cardiff areas I often get very interesting commissions.
One recently came through that took me to a unique, unassuming but magical location.

EcoDysgu is a charity based organisation that bases its business around ‘Creativity in a Natural environment whilst supported by Healing Practises.
The organisation has 42acres of ancient woodland buildings pasture and workshop space, located just outside Bridgend
My brief was to capture the essence and magical nature of the woodland and practicalities of the workshops.
The grounds have a fascinating history and it was a privilege to be accompanied on a tour into the deep woodland to experience the Dragons nest, and many wonderful interesting sculptures along with the serene nature of the countryside.
The resulting photographs were very well received with EcoDysgu now considering how they can use them over and above the initial brief.
I.e on calendars, postcards, t shirts, and even as a potential new branding image.

On the 12th July I had the pleasure of photographing the civil ceremony between Allan and Frances at Bridgend Registry Office.
I have been a photographer based in Bridgend and south Wales but will travel to any destination for that special occasion. With over 30 years experience covering Weddings most of my Wedding photography is now obtained by personnel recommendation.
Allan and Francis required the reportage style coverage, which is very relaxed with many candid photographs. The coverage started from their home just outside Bridgend with guests and family meeting at Bridgend Registry Office for the Civil Ceremony. The reception was held at a local rugby club, and under the direction of Frances the large ballroom was perfectly decorated and transformed from a rugby room to that of magnificent Wedding banquet.
I like to ensure that the wedding couple have fun on their day and that the photography will revolve around the bride and groom. Not take over the day as happens with many photographers. Alan and Francis day was a laugh a minute yet having discussed their requirements before hand the day ran perfectly and plenty of time was allocated within the day to allow for some beautiful and personnel photographs.
